Dra. Teresa Torralva earned her undergraduate degree in 2003 performing since several specialization courses and graduate related cognitive neurosciences and neuropsychology. Since graduating she has devoted himself primarily Neuropsychology and Clinical Research in this discipline. She is Director of the Department of Neuropsychology INECO and Executive Director of the INECO Foundation. In her career she directed the work of more than 20 professionals in the most important areas of neuropsychological research as well as clinical work.
She has published 54 research papers concerning Neuropsychology, all in international refereed journals, including the prestigious journals are Brain and Neuropsychologia. She has written book chapters nationally and internationally (Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press) concerning Neuropsychology Frontal Lobe, assessment of executive functions and description of Frontotemporal Dementia.
She has also participated as a reviewer of several Journals of Neurosciences and Neuropsychology, it has evaluated research projects for the Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation of Colombia (Colciencias) and currently is director of four graduate courses. In 2015, she earned his doctorate in medicine at the University Favaloro -calificación outstanding with her work “Contributions of Neuropsychology understanding of Frontal Lobe Function in Patients with Frontotemporal Dementia,” directed by Dr. Facundo Manes.
