Sebastián Moguilner has a degree in Physics and a Master degree in Medical Physics from Balseiro Institute. Currently he is pursuing his PhD. degree in biology at the National University of Cuyo. He has a scholarship granted by the National Atomic Energy Commission (Argentina).

His research is advocated to the study of epileptic patient’s consciousness impairments. He is also teacher assistant in the subject of Introduction to Medical Image Processing, of the Master degree in Medical Physics of Instituto Balseiro.

Msc. Moguilner has a background in electrophysiology and in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). He is currently researching in the development of new measures of brain functional connectivity, aiming to improve the early diagnostics of neurological and psychiatric pathologies.
