Líneas de investigación

Buscamos comprender con nuestros estudios la genética de los parkinsonismos, y las exposiciones medioambientales y los factores del estilo de vida que impactan en los síntomas de PSP y parkinsonismos. Además investigaremos las posibles interacciones genético-ambientales. Por otro lado, desarrollamos baterías de estudios cognitivos para el seguimiento de los cambios neuroconductuales de pacientes con PSP. En otra línea, profundizamos en el conocimiento de marcadores neurobiológicos (con EEG y potenciales evocados) de la impulsividad. Estudiamos la epidemiología, fenotipos clínicos, progresión y neurobiología molecular de pacientes con Parkinsonismo y demencia: Parálisis supranuclear progresiva, particularmente.
