Macarena Martínez-Cuitiño has a degree in Audiology from the University of Buenos Aires and a doctorate in the area of Mental Health in the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the UBA. It is also Specialist in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Buenos Aires. She has been a fellow of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) Research and the University of Buenos Aires (UBACYT).
She is currently Researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and Director of the Language Research Laboratory (Lilen) of the INECO Foundation.
Hers areas of interest are semantic memory and language. Mainly studies the semantic processing in healthy people and their alteration in patients with brain injuries.
As it regards the clinical activity served as fonoaudióloga Service Eva Peron Hospital Neuropsychology at the Institute of Neurosciences of the Favaloro Foundation and the Institute of Cognitive Neurology (INECO).
She teaches at the University of Buenos Aires and the Favaloro University, where he teaches subjects in undergraduate, graduate and specialization courses.
She has presented several papers in national and international conferences and congresses of the International Neuropsychological Society, at the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Aphasia, in the Meeting of the Federation of the European Societies of Neuropsychology at the International Symposium of Psycholinguistic. She is also author of numerous articles and book chapters.
