Ezequiel Mikulan is a PhD student from the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (Argentina). He is currently developing his thesis project, “Dynamics of brain connectivity in levels transitions of consciousness”, at the Institute of Cognitive and Translational Neuroscience (INCyT, Argentina). He specializes in the acquisition and analysis of human neurophysiological data. He is also a Teaching Assistant at Favaloro University, a researcher of the UDP-INECO Foundation Core on Neuroscience (Chile), and he is part of the intracranial recordings team, in collaboration with the Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires.
He is currently studying brain connectivity changes associated with the transition between wake and sleep states. He is also investigating time perception and multimodal integration.
He obtained his Bachelor degree in Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires (graduated with honors) and he has been a visiting student at Cambridge University (UK).
He is a collaborator in diverse projects that include neurolinguistics, music cognition, social cognition, epilepsy, schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s Disease, among others.
He has published book chapters and articles in international leading journals as Brain, Nature Scietific Reports and PloS one.
