Una visión comprensiva de la rehabilitación física de la antigua Grecia a la revolución cognitive
El avance de la rehabilitación tradicionalmente ha estado focalizado en las mediciones del trastorno motor y en los aprendizajes motores que resulten de la intervención terapéutica. Sin embargo, las ciencias de la rehabilitación física no se han ocupado en comprender los principios científicos y filosóficos de la intervención clínica y como están inter-relacionados. El objetivo de esta publicación es explicar las piedras fundacionales de las disciplinas de la kinesiología, la terapia ocupacional y la fonoaudiología en la rehabilitación de los desórdenes motores. Para ello se hará una revisión profunda de los paradigmas más importantes de la rehabilitación: el mecanicismo y el funcionalismo. Y se mostrará un sistema de clasificación terapéutica basado en sus principios ontológicos.
The progress of rehabilitation has traditionally been focused on measures of motor disorder and motor learning that result from therapeutic intervention. However, the physical rehabilitation sciences have not been concerned with understanding the scientific and philosophical principles of clinical intervention and how they are interrelated. The purpose of this publication is to explain the foundation stones of the disciplines of kinesiology, occupational therapy and speech therapy in the rehabilitation of motor disorders. In order to do so, an in-depth review of the most important paradigms of rehabilitation will be made: mechanicism and functionalism. And it will show a system of therapeutic classification based on its ontological principles.
